These roles will be governed by a written agreement that clearly sets out: (i) the commission formula and when commissions are earned and payable; (ii) any draws or advances and the reconciliation schedule; (iii) whether the role is classified as an employee (W-2) or independent contractor (1099) consistent with applicable worker-classification standards; (iv) expense reimbursement rules; and (v) treatment of commissions on deals in progress upon termination or transition. No minimum earnings are guaranteed for commission-only roles.
- For employee sales roles, Serelora complies with all applicable minimum wage, overtime, meal/rest, wage statement, and timing-of-pay requirements.
- For independent contractor roles, Serelora engages contractors consistent with applicable classification tests and will not control the manner and means of work beyond what the law allows.
Background & Work Authorization. Offers of employment may be contingent upon background checks permitted by law and verification of identity and authorization to work in the relevant jurisdiction.
